Nicholas Saint

Officer at Large

Growing up in Norwalk, Nicholas Saint became fascinated with science and wanted to become an Electrical Engineer. During his first year in college, however, he was diagnosed with a serious hyperthyroid condition that affected his focus. Having lost the

ability to study effectively, he decided to work as an IT specialist while undertaking natural treatment for the illness. 5 years later, he became completely cured and went back to school. Now attending HCC as an Electrical Engineering student, he joined PTK in January, became a chapter officer in February, and a Regional Officer in March.

Nicholas Saint is also involved in participating in 2 great projects. With a team for the Connecticut Space Consortium, sponsored by NASA, the project focuses on integrating drone technology with 3D mapping capability and providing real-time weather monitoring. The other is a team project for Met2, sponsored by the National Science Foundation that uses new technology called smart fabric; integrating technology (in our case wireless technology) into cloth; this signifies a new plateau for nanotechnology. Now back and busy, Nicholas Saint learned that there's so much in this world and intends to strive towards greater heights to the best of his abilities.
